In carrying out the development, financing, and structuring of the Company’s activities, and the establishment of the first commercial-scale facility, RIPP has secured a variety of key strategic partners and advisors.

RIPP’s alliance with Alstom Power Inc. (www.power.alstom.com) is a key element in the success of our initiative. Alstom is supplying the core equipment, including the rotary kilns, for RIPP’s first commercial-scale facility. Alstom is a global leader in the world of power generation and sets the benchmark for innovative and environmentally conscious technologies. Alstom is recognized worldwide for its engineering and design capabilities in such areas as process equipment, agricultural equipment, solids classification, conveyor systems and heat recovery systems. To date, it has sold hundreds of direct and indirect heat rotary kilns similar to those specified in our tire pyrolysis process. Thousands of industrial and chemical processing companies worldwide are currently using systems and equipment designed and engineered by Alstom.

AMEC (www.amec.com) supplies high-value consultancy, engineering, and project management services to the world's energy, power and process industries. The firm has annual revenues of over £2.3 billion, and has major operations in the UK and Americas, employing some 23,000 people in more than 30 countries worldwide.

AMEC is coordinating with RIPP and Alstom on key project development and facility preparation activities, including engineering, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning of the Kingston facility, as well as performing the Environmental Site Assessment. The firm will be involved, alongside the Company, in managing relations with local entities including municipal and/or regional bodies. AMEC has extensive experience dealing with relevant authorities and is adept with the terms and technical documentation required.

Canadian Rubber Testing and Development Ltd (CRTDL) (www.crtdl.com), located in Ontario, is an independent technology laboratory with an emphasis on rubber compound formulation and product development. Since 1992, CRTDL has focused considerable research into compound formulation, mixing and vulcanization optimization for development of Hypalon, EPDM, NBR, HNBR, SBR, and NR moulded goods, sponge products, extrusions, roll cover compounds, and latex dipped goods for large and small companies alike. CRTDL is supported by associates with broad experience in the rubber industry, including developing patented rubber medical products, technology transfer, and litigation support.

CRTDL’s has been involved in the characterization and analysis of RIPP’s carbon black with respect to its structure and application. The primary objective being to optimize end products that can meet the requirements of different industrial segments.

Kingston Economic Development Corporation (KEDCO) is the region’s institution providing economic development information and assistance. The institution helps companies and business owners with site selection, as well as business start-up and expansion activities. KEDCO is providing RIPP with assistance in various areas including community and local government relations, engagement of RIPP’s key local partners, as well as site development for RIPP’s commercial facility.

Deloitte is the brand name under which tens of thousands of firms throughout the world collaborate to provide audit, consulting, financial advisory, risk management and tax services to selected clients, as members of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu. Deloitte provides RIPP with audit, tax and related advisory services.

GreenCentre Canada (GCC) brings leading Green Chemistry researchers, international industry partners and commercialization expertise under one roof with a common goal of advancing Green Chemistry innovations out of the lab and into the marketplace. Working together, it transforms breakthroughs in Green Chemistry into green products and industrial technologies that benefit the world.   GCC is providing RIPP with advisory in relation to end product specifications and applications, as well as identifying high potential end customers for our products.
